The name of thechild was Adolf Hitler.
The Holocaust was a true tragedy for everyone involved. Luckily the allies won World War II and Hitler, in his cowardly ways, committed suicide. In his final will he states that he did not accomplish everything that he had set out to do, but the thing that he was most proud of was that he successfully eliminated Jewish people from Germany (Phil Tiemeyer, Class in Vienna). Adolf Hitler was a disgusting excuse for a human being and suicide was too easy for him, but we can only hope that everyone learned a valuable lesson from him so that nothing as horrific as the Holocaust ever takes place again.
The group of people Hitler was discriminating against with this generalization was specified in depth in the laws; they included Jews or anyone related to a Jew by even the smallest link on a family tree, gypsies, Slavs, political dissidents, mentally and physically disabled citizens, Jehovah's Witnesses, African-German children, asocial people, homosexuals, dissenti...

Through out history there have been many leaders that are remembered as particularly vicious and damaging to society. When it comes to Europe, there is one name that sticks out as a man who caused significant pain and suffering to a vast amount of people. Adolf Hitler was one of the most unyielding and destructive rulers in all of European history. Hitler was the ruler of Germany, and eventually the Nazi Germany movement from 1934 to 1945. This was a devastating time for people of various races, and cultures; however, there were few that had it worse than people of Jewish decent. The travesties and atrocities that the Jewish people had to endure are horrific and it is amazing that the Jewish culture has flourished and become more prevalent than ever, since.

4. Hitler gained the support of the German people through propaganda and by exploiting their poor economic conditions. What implications does this have for world leaders today? Consider the use of the media by the government and the government’s recent reactions to the economic decline.

3. Hitler’s actions of genocide to preserve the “supreme race” were inhumane and racist. What early actions could have been taken by the Allies to stop Hitler’s actions against the Jewish population?
She had agreed to share Adolf Hitler's fate.
The German community lived in fear so much so that people were afraid to sleep at night because they were worried about saying something that would offend the Nazi’s. Hitler made it clear early on that he would get rid of anyone who went against what he said or tried to get in his way. In Mauthausen, the concentration camp in Austria was located on the top of a huge hill where all of the community could see it. Everything appeared so orderly and well maintained considering the camps seemed to be beautiful from the outside. Most people claim that they did not stand up for what they believed was right or get involved because Hitler had them brainwashed to believe that the prisoners in the camps were bad people or criminals. They thought that they were just paying off their debt to society by doing slave labor (Thomas, Tour of Mauthausen). They had no idea of the abuse, experimentation, and murder that took place. It is hard to put myself in their shoes, but I think that if I truly believed that nothing unethical was taking place in the concentration camps then I probably would not say anything considering the way I feel about criminals now. In America our tax dollars provide them with food, cable television, and workout equipment and I feel like most of them do not deserve those luxuries. Although if I had a Jewish friend that had been sent to a concentration camp I would have a different opinion about what they were actually meant for. I would try to help in any way that I could without putting my family’s lives in danger.
It is helping me on a documentary over hitler and the holocaust!
Other countries such as America, France, and England were hesitant to get involved because of the inconvenient time. With World War I just recently ending and the world depression going on most countries were more concerned with repairing their own instabilities. Everyone’s armies were weak because of losing so many men in the war and almost every country was in financial debt. Hitler had the other countries scared because he posed the threat of war on them and their armies were not as strong as his at this time. They were not prepared for a war at this time.
